I have been on face book for a year now and well as being connected to my friends/family, there are some down sides to this social network. Firstly its the waiting for videos and pictures to load up, I am on a 8mbps connection so it should be fast to load up. Secondly its the friend request it has a button for “ignore all” but why not for “accept all”. Thirdly its the navigation of the site. I find it so annoying trying to go through menu`s. They should add some more shortcuts on your profile page so i don’t have to wait for it load load up 5 times to see Chris Pirillo`s status. Fourthly its the amount of spam coming through. I’m constantly getting flooded with spam saying i have received gifts, or I am someones number one. And for the last negative point, i have heard a lot of stuff on the news saying that there are some viruses and worms going around, and because most people want to try the new “apps” they get infected so easily and we cant tell if it is real, that is why i check if it has got a good rating or a lot of members/fans. Now for the good part why mostly everyone likes face book and that is the “chat” . You can talk to your friends simultaneously like “my space”. Also another popular feature are games there are some online games on face book like yo-ville or farm ville which are played by lodes of face book subscribers. Pictures and videos are good on face book because you can tag people what that means is basically someone is in the video or picture however sometimes this can be abused. Face book is also good for advertising your company/organization, this is very helpful because there are a lot of people on face book so your most may see lodes of views which may turn out to cash.
